Job Information

Kings Norton Nursery School are looking for a passionate and committed Nursery Officer to join our team and work within our After-School Club provision. The candidate will need to be a positive and flexible team member, working in an environment where everyone feels welcomed, safe, respected, included and valued.

The post will include:

  • supporting pupils during our After-School provision and assisting with planning and providing good quality play opportunities
  • working as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • preparing food and drink that promotes healthy eating, and complies with current school food guidelines and food safety legislation.
  • ensuring adequate supervision of the children at all times and deal with the needs of the children on a daily basis. Ensuring that the school’s Safeguarding Children policy and procedures are followed at all times
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
