Job Information

We are seeking an experienced Attendance and Welfare Assistant who will have a positive impact in school. The successful candidate will facilitate the partnership between home, school, wider community and the local authority. With knowledge of attendance procedures and strategies, you will be able to manage your own caseload proactively and work effectively with the Headteacher and the Pastoral Managers. You will also be able to relate well to pupils of all ages and their parents and be able to impact positively on attitudes and behaviour in relation to attendance. You will be required to provide high quality, well planned pastoral support and guidance to pupils and families to promote high expectations, raise aspirations and facilitate academic progress.

Secondary School experience preferred but not essential.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:15am to 4.05pm.
