Job Information

Albert Bradbeer Primary Academy in Longbridge and Fairway Primary School in Kings Norton are each seeking to employ a highly motivated individual to join our two teams as a Business Manager, for 2.5 days (0.5 FTE) a week in each school. The two separate posts can be amalgamated, with one successful candidate working in both schools for a full 5-day role (1.0FTE) if required.
The successful applicant should possess the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated with a “can do” attitude and use their own initiative to drive projects forward. The candidate must also have the capability to lead and inspire others, while also being a collaborative team player with a good sense of humour, especially in supporting colleagues and our school children.
The Business Manager will be responsible for handling a diverse range of tasks, from financial management to overseeing administrative functions, therefore the ability to prioritise urgent tasks effectively is crucial. Previous experience working in a busy school environment would be beneficial.

Visits to our one or both academy are welcomed during the week beginning Monday 16 September 2024. To book an appointment or request an application form, please email or call Cath Vigers at Fairway (cvigers@fwp.greenheartlearning.org, Telephone number: 0121 464 3200) and/or Lyndsey Chambers at Albert Bradbeer (Lchambers@abp.greenheartlearning.org Telephone number: 0121 464 2356).
Completed application forms should also be sent to the above email addresses at either school.

Please indicate in your application form whether you are applying for an individual school, or would like to be considered for both schools separately or as an amalgamation of roles into a full time position.
Joint Shortlisting will take place on 27 September 2024
Interviews will be held week on Thursday 3 October 2024
Target commencement date of Monday 4 November 2024, but this is negotiable with the successful candidate(s).
