Job Information

Hodge Hill College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our office team as a Clerical Assistant. This role involves providing administrative support to staff, children, parents, and visitors under the direction of the Office Manager.

As a Clerical Assistant, you will assist with general administrative tasks, including the use of SIMS for school administration, photocopying, emailing, and mail handling. You will also provide a professional welcome to visitors, manage enquiries, and ensure effective communication via face-to-face, telephone, and electronic means.

Maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders and ensuring proper safeguarding checks and procedures are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, you will act as an additional Emergency First Aider and assist with first aid duties, as well as help with stock taking and inventory management.

You will be part of a wider admin team, which includes the main office team, the school data team and the reprographics department. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong communication skills and has the capability to function effectively within this administrative team.
