Waverley School became an all-through school in September 2012. At Waverley, we create an environment, which allows everyone to develop mutual respect for each other and a respect for learning.

This is an exciting time to join Waverley Education Foundation Trust. We have landmark buildings equipped with state of the art and design technology facilities for teaching, learning and training. As part of the exciting growth plans for the Trust, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements across the Trust.

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team as Careers Advisor and Co-Ordinator.

The ideal applicant will support all students attending Waverley School and Waverley Studio College receive excellent and impartial CEIAG; you will empower staff across the Trust to support the CEIAG agenda and to signpost students to appropriate, professional sources of IA. The ideal applicant also needs to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships.

The school’s most recent inspection report, Ofsted (November 2021) commented that ‘Pupils are happy to come to this school…. and the curriculum is ambitiously designed to stretch pupils regardless of their starting point.’

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Waverley Education Foundation Trust is committed to the protection and safety of its students.
