Job Information

The Governors wish to appoint an Assistant Building Services Supervisor to work with our existing Site Manager across the Infant and Junior Schools to provide full day cover for our busy site. He/she should be an organised, enthusiastic, highly motivated and skilled person with good communication skills to join our team. The job entails ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard at all times, you should be able to carry out routine maintenance including building and grounds and carry out a number of duties which include janitorial, cleaning and porterage. You will work under the Site Manager but will be expected to use your own initiative in the deployment of your duties to ensure the effective and safe operation of the school. Basic skills in repair and maintenance would be helpful. We can offer a welcoming staff team and a positive working environment, alongside in-house training with Birmingham City Council guidance. Informal site visits prior to application are encouraged, or we can arrange a telephone call with the Site Manager; please contact the school to arrange a visit or telephone call.
