We have a unique opportunity available for the right person. Cotteridge Primary School are recruiting a SENDCo - Required for April 2025 or sooner if possible

Salary Scale: MPS/UPR plus TLR (£3,391 FT)

Full Time Number on roll – 445

Due to the promotion of our existing SENDCo, the Governing Board of Cotteridge Primary School wish to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and passionate SENDCO with an enthusiastic, inclusive approach to learning. We want our SENDCo to work with colleagues to further enhance our provision, support and intervention, leading to effective practice across the whole staff.

The successful candidate will continue to raise standards in SEND provision so that it enriches the lives of our children, makes learning engaging and fun, and ensures every child’s talents are developed to the full. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where there is a commitment to continuous professional development.

There are 3 options available for the successful candidate:

  • option 1: non-class based for 3 days per week (0.6 position)
  • option 2: non-class based for 3 days per week plus 1 day teaching as required (0.8 position)
  • option 3: non-class based for 3 days per week plus 2 days teaching as required (F/T position)

If the successful candidate is wishing to undertake 1 or 2 days teaching, they will also get PPA time in addition to their 3 days non-class based time for their SENDCo work.
