Job Information

Deanery C E Primary School is a caring, friendly and successful two-form entry academy primary school. We are extremely proud of the high standard of our in house school catering service and we are committed to continuing to offer an excellent service to our pupils and staff. We have a vacancy for a 12.5 hour per week General Assistant. The hours will be 11.15am – 1.45pm Monday to Friday term time only. The working times may vary depending on service needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our catering team from as soon as possible. Duties include:

  • assisting with the preparation of food
  • serving pupils
  • erecting and dismantling tables for lunch
  • cleaning the dining hall
  • washing up
  • kitchen cleaning
  • general kitchen duties

Previous experience desirable, but training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertake the Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training. All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
