About the School:
Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 257 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Mayfield School educates children and young people, who have a range of learning difficulties, between the ages of 3 and 19 and have approximately 300 students on roll.

About this Role:
The post includes classroom support, mentoring, pastoral care and assisting with the physical care of pupils as and when required. Due to the complex physical needs of our students, you will be required to assist with the moving and handling of the students and on occasion assist with their personal care needs. You should have excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour and a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
