About this Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People Advisor to provide an excellent HR advisory service to 2 of schools in the Birmingham area.

This role will be full time (37 hours per week) term time only. This is not a hybrid role as you will be required to spend your time in our schools providing an exemplary service supporting the Headteachers and Operational teams, becoming embedded as an extended member of their team.

The role will be based in 2 of our schools, Audley Primary School, B33 9HY and The Oval School, B33 8JG and travel will be required to our other schools and occasional travel to our Head Office in Brindley place in Birmingham.

As a valued member of our central team, you will work in collaboration with our wider team of HR professionals. You will report to the Senior People Manager who will support you and give guidance for your development.

What we are looking for:

  • an experienced people advisor providing expert advice to our schools and to our people in a timely manner, able to manage your time and case work effectively
  • you will need to demonstrate experience in managing casework and knowledge of employment law
  •  you will be required to undertake casework as needed, both coaching and mentoring others through this process as part of our commitment to learning and development
  • being a trusted advisor: supporting the headteachers on all things staffing and HR, guiding them through employee relations and employment law
  • experience of working in the multi academy trust sector is desirable but not essential

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
