Why consider Oasis Academy Foundry
As a school we are proud of our Outstanding Ofsted rating that is the result of a fantastic team of staff and pupils who are committed to creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment. At Oasis Academy Foundry, we are relentless in providing our students with the best possible education, and with over 40 languages spoken we can confidently say our academy truly celebrates diversity and inclusion.
Here you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to work with students from various cultural perspectives and experiences, making each day at Oasis Academy Foundry a truly unique learning experience. We have developed a new and exciting curriculum that is designed to engage and challenge our students to achieve their full potential, and we provide each child with their own iPad to enhance their learning experience.

As a leader at Oasis Academy Foundry, you’ll be joining a team that values innovation, teamwork, and a positive work culture, making it a truly rewarding environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly motivated professionals who are dedicated to providing an outstanding education for our students. You will be supported by experienced colleagues who are committed to your professional development, and you will have access to a range of training and development opportunities.
By joining Oasis Academy Foundry, you’ll be part of an inspiring, values-driven community where education extends beyond the walls of the classroom and into the heart of Winson Green. If you’re passionate about making a meaningful impact and ready to take your career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!
To help realise this potential we are now looking for an equally focused and ambitious Deputy Principal to work alongside our Principal (Asima) and our inspirational Regional Director (Herminder) – a network like no other. Designed to provide you with the support, mentoring and coaching when you need it, but the freedom to step up, develop and grow at the same time.

What are we seeking:
We are looking for a leader who shares our vision to enable everyone of our young people to grow and develop themselves as part of our Leadership Team. You will have the natural skills to inspire and motivate our students to excel across the Academy and to help shape them in becoming aspirational, informed, and compassionate global citizens as they gain a better understanding of the world around them and their role within it.
We would expect our future Deputy Principal to be on outstanding practitioner (ideally with a track record of improvement in several primary settings and with experience of developing and mentoring colleagues) who would act as a role model for others in the classroom and around the Academy.
As Deputy Principal, you will need to be able to demonstrate leadership and alignment with the Academy values and beliefs, ensuring that the culture of the Academy is embedded and reflected in everyday practice. The Academy team has an ethos based on collaboration and support with staff sharing strategies and resources to help everyone deliver excellent education – a culture that we know helps develop careers and ensure success.
This is genuinely an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader looking for the next steps in their career, wishing to make a difference to the lives of young people. You will join a friendly and supportive team, who strive to ensure that all children enjoy their learning and surpass expectations of achievement.
If you wish to grow professionally with our academy, join us and become part of the team to continue to develop our Academy.
