Job Information

We are currently recruiting for exams invigilators who can promote a supportive atmosphere for all our pupils during their examinations. Under the guidance of the Examinations Officer you will start, oversee and finish examinations as necessary. You will be assisting in the preparations of the exams venue, completion of relevant paperwork and the monitoring and management of conduct during internal and external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). You will play a key role in upholding the integrity of all external examinations/assessments process.

Hours will vary, with the bulk of GCSE examinations falling in May and June. However, additional examinations take place throughout the year. The successful candidates will be dedicated and responsible individuals who can be relied upon to be punctual, professional and assist in all aspects of the daily administration of examinations. You may also be required to act as 'readers' and 'scribes' for learners with special educational needs. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
