Job Information

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Building Services Supervisor. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Site Manager and the Building Services Manager.

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and dedicated team player that can:

  • maintain safety requirements around the building and grounds
  • Site Safety and security
  • may include the occasional split shift, and some late night for evening events
  • follow maintenance programmes
  • complete routine repairs and Maintenance work of building and grounds to a high standard
  • knowledge of managing site health and safety
  • COSHH knowledge or a willingness to attend training
  • ability to work and liaise with outside contractors
  • work effectively in partnership with all stakeholders
  • work cooperatively as part of a team
  • be resourceful and committed to ensuring the highest possible standards
  • display a flexible and practical approach, and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • communicate effectively with a wide audience including teaching staff, students and parents, as well as the wider community
  • contribute to the life of the school and its community
  • take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
  • the ability to remain calm under pressure, to prioritise work and identify and act on issues of Health and Safety are essential
