We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and passion for providing the best outcomes for all pupils, who is highly motivated and has consistently high expectations, high levels of organisation, proactivity and positivity. They will be someone who will fully engage children in their learning and make a positive contribution to the delivery of quality learning experiences for our children. The successful candidate must be an experienced EYFS teaching assistant, able to demonstrate an understanding of the EYFS Framework and children’s educational development throughout the relevant age range. We are interested to hear of any particular curricular strengths or areas of expertise.
The successful applicant will:
- fully support the Catholic ethos of our school
- early years’ experience is essential
- have high standards of oral, written and numeracy skills
- deliver targeted interventions to small groups and or individuals
- be a great team player and also be able to work independently and use initiative
- committed to education and ensuring equal opportunities
- take part in whole-school INSET activities to enhance job effectiveness
- experience working within a Catholic school would be desirable but is not essential
- This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
