Worlds End Junior School is a Birmingham local authority school and VI resource base. Our provision covers children aged 7 to 11 years old.
We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school following our inspection in June 2023. We provide pupils with the opportunity to learn and achieve in every aspect of school life within in a caring, happy and safe environment.
Our school is seeking to appoint a Headteacher who will have the ability to consolidate and build upon our current successes and continue to improve the school further on our journey towards becoming an outstanding school.
Children are at the heart of everything we do. Worlds End Junior School offers a highly skilled, motivated and experienced staff and leadership team, and a wonderful learning environment. The successful candidate will have no limitations on their scope of thought or ideas other than to ensure that the school continues to thrive and flourish.
The Governing Board are seeking to appoint an aspirational and inspirational Headteacher who will:
• continue to improve our quality of educational and extra- curricular provision
• consolidate and continue to develop our community links and collaborative networks
• provide inspirational leadership, ensuring delivery of educational excellence through the highest possible standards of teaching and learning
• strengthen and improve upon our reputation as a caring, nurturing and inclusive school, with a particular focus on staff and pupil wellbeing
• maintain high aspirations for students, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to face the challenges of the ever-changing world
