Job Information

 

The governors wish to appoint an administration assistant to join the Academy, to help continue working together to drive standards and support our already well-established office team in all aspects of administration. Dorrington Academy is an exciting, inclusive community school. We work hard but at the same time ensure the wellbeing of everyone is a priority.

The successful candidate should have experience in a general administration environment and have the ability to use database applications. The ability to communicate effectively is key as the role involves being the first point of contact to all parents and visitors to the school. Additionally, the candidate should be able to extend this communication when dealing with people over the telephone. Being organised and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential to maintain the running of our busy office.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
