Job Information

An opportunity has arisen for a professional, friendly and enthusiastic office manager to join our wonderful Maney Hill Primary School team. We are looking for a personable and hard-working candidate with excellent communication and organisational skills to assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Often being one of the first points of contact for school, with both parents and staff, you will need to be welcoming to parents, pupils, staff, governors and visitors in a warm and professional manner.

The role includes:

  • admissions of pupils/handling data
  • book and record supply staff
  • census
  • administration of medicines
  • school communication
  • other office administrative tasks

We are looking for someone who:

  • is professional, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • is reliable, flexible and able to work in partnership with staff, parents and pupils
  • has an eye for detail and excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • be personable and have a positive, can-do attitude
  • is calm under pressure, able to prioritise workloads and work on their own initiative
  • is a team player
  • has IT skills and is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • is committed to supporting the school vision, mission and values
  • is dedicated to ensure safeguarding is paramount within school

A knowledge of Bromcom would be advantageous but not essential, training will be provided.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
