Job Information

Birmingham Independent College (BIC) is a specialist college for students aged 14 to 25 with autism. We focus on providing students with the tools to grow academically, creatively and socially, unlocking their potential rather than focusing on their past.

We are seeking a Lead Supervisor to join our dedicated Complex Needs Team, which creates a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment that values the safeguarding and individuality of each student. Through tailored support and our unique approach, we aim to build independence, confidence, and resilience, helping students achieve academically and personally, whilst putting their safeguarding as our paramount concern. With a capacity of 35 students, BIC currently supports those with Complex Needs, with its committed team working to transform lives. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional development. Applications are welcome from experienced practitioners across all sectors, who have worked to educate children with disabilities. The post is not suitable for ECTs.
