Al-Furqan Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Islamic School. We are currently looking for a driven, positive and experienced candidate to work as Teaching Assistant.
We are looking to appoint teaching assistants:
• who have the ability to work with a range of children, working with groups or individuals in class or withdrawn
• to be creative and knowledgeable of different strategies to use in the classroom
• who have the passion to ensure pupils are supported in an inclusive classroom environment
• who have a high level of literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above)
• to be proactive and work as a good team player, with members of staff and pupils alike
• who have experience of working with pupils with various special needs such as learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and behavioural and emotional difficulties
