Stirchley Primary School is looking to appoint a suitably qualified, hardworking, enthusiastic teaching assistant to work in our friendly and welcoming school. Ideally you will have had experience at working with children with ADHD, children on the autistic spectrum and working with IEP’s. This is predominantly a one-to-one position.
The successful candidates should be prepared to work throughout all three Key Stages if the need arises, Foundation, KS1 & KS2.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with children, staff, and parents. Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have a good standard of education. Staff will be expected to work their hours on INSET days and holidays are not allowed during term time. - This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
