Worlds End Infant and Nursery School and Visually Impaired (VI) Resource Base is a three form entry local authority school based in Quinton, Birmingham. Our school was rated “Good” at the last inspection in October 2023. At World’s End Infant and Nursery School, our aim is to provide a rich and exciting Curriculum with the highest quality of teaching and learning. We encourage children at our school to reach for the stars and never stop believing.

Our school is seeking to appoint a Headteacher who can work with us to embed the actions arising from the School Development Plan and to ensure that we can become an “Outstanding” school. World’s End Infant and Nursery School has a highly skilled and experienced staff team.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to offer aspirational and collaborative leadership.

The successful candidate will also:

  • maintain high standards of progress and attainment, whilst being aspirational for the children ensuring they are well equipped for the next stage of their learning journey
  • provide inspirational leadership, ensuring delivery of educational excellence through the highest possible standards of teaching and learning
  • build and develop a positive culture within the school: it will be one which supports an effective learning environment which is caring, nurturing and inclusive, with a particular focus on staff and pupil wellbeing
  • maintain and build, where necessary, links with stakeholders within the community and elsewhere.
