Job Information

School Lunchtimes are an important part of the school day and we are seeking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor who is committed to supporting our learners and colleagues. Working as part of a team you will be a positive role model for our learners, actively promoting inclusive play including leading play activities as required.

You will ensure a safe and fun environment for our learners, supervising them while they eat and while they are in the playground and other areas of the academy. You will assist with feeding where required and ensure the dining halls are kept clean, encouraging and promoting good behaviours at all times.

You will have:

  • a passion and commitment to supporting and caring for children and young people
  • good communication skills
  • commitment, reliability, and a willingness to learn
  • the ability to undertake manual handling tasks such as cleaning, moving furniture and walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Ideally candidates must have flexibility with the working hours as times may need to be changed based on the academy and learners needs
