About the Role
As the Exams Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of examinations, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations, and providing essential support to students, staff, and external examiners. You will manage the administration, security, and operation of exams, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of the school’s examinations, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and vocational qualifications
- ensure compliance with JCQ and other examination board regulations
- manage exam entries, amendments, and withdrawals
- recruit, train, and manage a team of invigilators
- maintain accurate records and ensure the secure storage of examination papers
- process and distribute exam results and assist in data analysis
- support students with access arrangements in collaboration with the SENCO
