Job Information

St Matthew’s Primary School is offering a very exciting opportunity for a Lunchtime Supervisor, to join our hard-working lunchtime team, dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of our pupils.

You will be part of a successful team responsible for supervising children during the lunch break, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our children, promoting good behaviour and taking a proactive role in supporting and leading play activities.

The hours of work are from 12noon to 1:15pm, Monday to Friday, where you will be responsible for supervising children in the dining hall, classroom and playground areas.

We are looking for someone who:

• can manage pupil behaviour effectively

• is able to communicate effectively with children and staff with a good standard of spoken and written English

• has the ability to relate well to children and adults

• is a good role model for our children

• can work well as part of a team

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
