Regular briefing sessions now available
These sessions are great for members of staff responsible for the single central record and who are either newly appointed or are looking for a refresher on the single central record and all of the pre-employment checks it requires knowledge and understanding of.
This session will:
- update you on any changes that have recently been implemented to the SCR and ensure understanding (Portability, Prohibition, CDR, overseas declaration/EU exit)
- outline recruitment best practice in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education and how to record this on your SCR in line with Ofsted audits
- cover safer recruitment procedures and provide relevant advice around risk assessments
- provide advice on Right To Work (RTW), including legislation governing the employment of migrant workers
- give you the opportunity to ask questions
