The NEU consultative ballot on the Government’s pay offer has been rejected by 98% of NEU teacher members in England with a turnout of 66%.

At conference, delegates voted that if negotiations are not successful there will be a re-ballot period from 15 May to end of July, with a proposed three day strike in late June or Early July to be confirmed by 18 May.
