On Thursday, July 13, the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD) report for 2023 was released.
The statutory consultation period has begun, and will run for an extended 10 weeks, consultation will go until September 21, 2023.
The new STPCD and Pay Order are expected to be presented to parliament mid-October for a 21-day period.
As a result, final publication is anticipated in November 2023 and the pay award will be backdated to September 2023.
